Data Method
During the time frame of June 23, 2016-July 1, 2016, I, Mia Coats, conducted a survey on 48 individuals, 8 of which were European and 40 of which were American. I commenced this survey during my European Quartet EF tour to the following cities: Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and London. My survey consisted of nine questions, all of which questioned various aspects of the transportation system and their lifestyles. My survey had a variety of question types such as the Likert Scale (https://www.questionpro.com/blog/4-measurement-scales-every-researcher-should-remember/), Multiple Choice, and Open Ended questions that led to discussion and further inquiry. I chose these methods, as they led to specific answers and made my analysis easier to compose. The survey was prepared in English only, however, due to the abundance of bilingual speakers throughout Europe, I did not struggle with any language barriers. The only word people often questioned me about was "commute" in which me or my tour guide easily translated.
